Back from Florida (USA) where I spent three weeks with the best friends ever, I bought some groceries at the nearest store. Here’s what I got for $35 (€31.09) :

All prices include tax : 5.5 % on 21.58 = 1.13 € & 20 % on 9.51 = 1.59 €.
I found food very expensive in Florida, compared to France, that’s the reason why I decided to write this post. I’m trying to compare the purchasing power in the United States and in France, comparing also salaries, benefits and taxes, I’ll let you know the results or my searches.
